UFO Info
(UFO documentaries and videos below)

This section of my website exists to inform you about the UFO problem. I call it a problem because after 20 years of my own research I have decided for myself that's what it is. The UFO problem is not a belief system, though many people have found various ways to turn it into a belief system. There is much evidence to suggest that UFO information has been manipulated by various individuals and agencies to affect existing belief systems or even to establish new ones. (i.e.; Eduard "Billy" Meier and his Talmud Jmmanuel or TJ, the UMMO cult, the Raelian cult, the Urantia Foundation, etc.) Often when someone learns of my interest in the UFO problem, they ask me if I "believe in UFOs". I usually say "no", but then I feel obligated to clarify my response. I suppose this would be a good place to do just that.

When one looks at the growing database of UFO information (sighting reports archived by organizations like NICAP, APRO, MUFON, NUFORC, NARCAP, NIDS, the US Air Force and others) one can see a problem. The fact that sighting reports have continued to be generated within a climate of general denial of the existence of the phenomenon by government officials is indicative of a problem. When the US Air Force closed Project Blue Book, its official 20-year study of the phenomenon, in 1969, many thought that UFO sighting reports would decrease. The opposite occurred. Four short years later, the world witnessed the most intense UFO wave yet in 1973.

While it's true that many if not most (75-90%) UFO sighting reports are actually misidentifications of mundane or known phenomena, as most researchers are keen to point out and most especially debunkers of UFO reality who try to extend that interpretation to the remaining 10-25% [more below], that indicates an interesting fact. It proves conclusively, 100%, that there is such a thing as a sincere witness. When you have whittled away the cases which are misidentified known phenomenon, cases which lack enough detail to pursue and cases involving witnesses of low credibility or even the rare hoaxes, you are still left with an impressive database (possibly as low as 2% of the database) of sighting reports by credible witnesses who have seen something up close that they could not explain. These are referred to by many researchers as the "hard core cases", as they provide the best glimpse at the core of the problem. The most profound examples of these cases involve witnesses with a quick means of recording witnessed incidents already in place, like police officers, military officers, state troopers, commercial airline pilots, military pilots, radar technicians and scientists to name a few. The credibility of these types of witnesses is generally highly regarded as their duties require them to be alert and sober and to accurately report events that they witness.

When a debunker of UFO reality tries to extend the misidentification/hoax explanation to the hard core cases, they are in fact promoting a new belief system; one that is contradicted by the information in the reports. Perhaps it is a belief system in reverse or a disbelief system. When a pilot, crew and passengers on a plane witness a UFO at close range which is also detected on multiple radar systems on the ground and in the air, and the witnesses all describe an object in enough detail for investigators to determine that it does not correspond to any known phenomenon, then they are in fact witnesses to an unknown phenomenon. There are plenty of cases like the hypothetical one mentioned here. The National Aviation Reporting Center for Anomalous Phenomena [NARCAP] has a catalogue of over 3,500 worldwide aerial observations and incidents involving UAP (unidentified aerial phenomena, NARCAP's scientific term for UFO, used because of the extra-terrestrial spin that has been applied to the term UFO in the mind of the public).

In my opinion, what the growing database of hard core cases represents is an unknown phenomenon, which could eventually be confronted and understood if the proper effort were applied in the form of a rigorous scientific investigation. My main point in all of this is that many people over the years have tried to put their finger on what exactly is the cause of these sighting reports before evidence confirming such a hypothesis has materialized. Many have speculated that UFOs are technology created by a non-human or extra-terrestrial intelligence. This idea really caught on quickly and by the early 1950's was already the dominant hypothesis. It is now 2007 and there is still no solid connection between the reported phenomenon and extra-terrestrial intelligence or any other specific cause any more than there was in 1947, but the idea has festered in the major media's presentation and approach to the topic, the end result of which one can see on the news occasionally...accompanied by a dismissive laugh.

Online UFO Documentaries

There's a lot of crap out there! Most of it is crap! These are movies that are freely available on the internet and I highly recommend them as sources of information on the UFO problem. There are literally hours of material here already and more can be expected in the future. They are usually split up into segments due to storage restrictions on free YouTube or Google Video accounts, but a show is a show is a show, right? Keep in mind that the compressed video quality of UFO footage on these streamed shows is usually less than spectacular. I have listed these here, because they are informative, entertaining, professionally produced and treat the subject matter seriously. Make sure to maximize the player window to watch the shows fullscreen. (It's a little button at the bottom right corner of the player.) Enjoy!

Out Of The Blue: Hailed by many as the best documentary yet on the UFO problem. Producer, James Fox, is currently working on an updated version of the program which will feature former governor of Arizona, Fife Symington, explaining why he arranged the press conference that seemed to poke fun at witnesses of the Phoenix Lights incident of 1997 and how he now confesses that he actually witnessed the UFO himself!
